Sean f(x)=x2f(x) = x^2, g(x)=x+1g(x) = x + 1 y h(x)=xh(x) = \sqrt{x}. Halla (f∘g∘h)(x)(f \circ g \circ h)(x), su dominio y su valor en x=4x = 4.

Ver solución
  1. (f∘g∘h)(x)=f(g(h(x)))(f \circ g \circ h)(x) = f(g(h(x))): primero se aplica hh, luego gg y al final ff.
  2. h(x)=xh(x) = \sqrt{x}; g(x)=x+1g(\sqrt{x}) = \sqrt{x} + 1; f(x+1)=(x+1)2f(\sqrt{x} + 1) = (\sqrt{x} + 1)^2.
  3. Dominio: hh exige x≥0x \ge 0; gg y ff están definidas en todo R\mathbb{R}. Entonces el dominio es [0,∞)[0, \infty).
  4. En x=4x = 4: (4+1)2=(2+1)2=9(\sqrt{4} + 1)^2 = (2 + 1)^2 = 9.

Resultado final: (f∘g∘h)(x)=(x+1)2(f \circ g \circ h)(x) = (\sqrt{x} + 1)^2, con dominio [0,∞)[0, \infty) y valor 99 en x=4x = 4.
